What happens after that is the agency's clock, not ours. State and federal processing typically returns a result within a few business days, and posting to a board or to the Clearinghouse follows from there. It depends on the agency. Clearinghouse results carry a retention period while your status is kept current; other routes want a result issued within the past six to twelve months. Check the requirement rather than assuming.
